Season out for the pilot Tim Holinger!

Tim was injured after a misstep on the ankle and has tapes strongly dragged. Too bad, because there were the Swiss Championships in St. Moritz on the program and the objectives for this were high.

Now the carriage is slightly earlier sent to the break than imagined, but the rehab starts Tim again soon, so that he again can fully engage in the upcoming season.

31st january 2016

From the 25th until the 31st of January 2016, the EC races were held in St. Moritz. The Bob Team Holinger hoped in the 2 Bob to have an exploit, as they hoped for an advantage on their home track. Unfortunately, it turned out quite differently. The training went top, but the race was a flop. Too cramped the pilot went to the race and taxed the course completely. It was not enough for the second run.

26th january 2016

The highlight of January was clearly the Junior Worldchampionchips in Winterberg. Switzerland put together the best junior team. Also present were Tim Holinger as a pilot, Michale Kuonen, Marco Dörig, Alain Knuser and Marco Tanner as brakemens. It was expected from the guys a lot in the 2 and 4 bob.

Target in 2 bob was to reach the top 6, but the team Holinger / Kuonen scraped narrowly with the 7 th place around it. Although they could be further improved by one rank from first to second run. The 7th rank one is still very satisfied.

In 4 bob the Top 10 were announced and this reached Holinger / Kuonen / Dörig / Knuser with the very good 8th place. After the first run the team was even on the 5th place overall and they could dream from a top 6 ranking. Potential exists in any case.

16th january 2016

It continued in Igls (A) with a 2 bob race and two 4 bob races. After sobering Koenigssee they drove with elan to Igls, Igls is a favorite track from Tim. But if you have looked at the start list in more detail, we quickly realized that it will be difficult to come up at all in the second run, because there were a lot of World Cup riders at the start.

Tim and Christof took up this challenge. With a 36th place they were further away from qualifying for the second run. Likewise, it ran in the two 4 bob races. With rank 25 and 26 could not convinced.

11th january 2016

The first EC race 2016 was held in Koenigssee (D). Tim started with Christof Kellenberger in the 2 bob race and was ranked on the 18th place. The running time is quite good, but at the start exists still potential for improvements.

In addition to the 2 bob race two 4 bob races took place. The first of these has the team Holinger omitted because Tim has borrowed a starter from his team to the team of World Cup rider and club colleague Beat Hefti. On Sunday Holinger launched himself back into the 4 bob with Christof Kellenberger, Niklas Jäggi and Sandro Ferrari. With 20th place in the 4 bob race the EC race in Koenigssee were completed.

02nd january 2016

In December no big competitions were on the program for the Bob team Holinger, but the time was used for intensive training on their home track in St. Moritz.

The Olympia Bob Run is in top condition and the pilot was able to exit a few kilometers and hone his technique.

On the 2nd of january 2016  was the first race in the new year. Tim went along with the newcomer Marco Tanner in 2 bob race called Nameless. The team was defeated only by the Englishman Bruce Tasker. Marco Tanner has super beaten and shown together with Tim a remarkable start time. Marco now also runs after Koenigssee - we can not wait to see the resultes...

Even Tim and Christof have denied this 1.4 km race in Altenberg in the EC on 4 December 2015 and were 17th

The first two races were held last weekend in Winterberg (D). The program included 2x 2 Bob Race, aboard Christof Kellenberger and Maruan Giumma.

Tim and Christof occupied on Friday the 17 th place and on Saturday Tim and Maruan were able to increase into the Top 15 and ranked directly on the 15th Place.

Normally Tim should drive as well the 4 Bob Race in Winterberg and in Altenberg too, but the associations changed the plans due to tactical reasons.

14th november 2015

The Bob Team Holinger graduated this week a training camp in Koenigssee (D).

Although there were only training runs, but you still wanted to show a very good exercise performance and to draw attention to themselves again. For extra-Tim's training colleagues or rather were "Speed Machines" flown in from England.

The "Speed Machines" ensured a good start times and also the performance of the pilot improved from trip to trip.

But look at the "Speed Machines" by yourself:

8th november 2015

In the second week of november there was the first meeting with the other swiss bob teams in Igls (A). The Bob Team Holinger stood in Igls again for the first time on the ice and was able to complete good training runs. Because of the injury the pilot went with a few weeks less of training into the selection races, which you unfortunately have seen.

Nevertheless, the selection race had gone clean and theycould pull out a 4th place in the final classification. Regarding that the Bob Team Holinger is still a Junior Team, he has a startingposition in the european cup of sure.
